Cute! Interesting! Saw this on a Church sign yesterday. I thought--yes--too many times we get so bent out of shape while all the time God could have taken care of it--had we only talked to Him about it first.

A Day in the Life of two old people

We are really living it up. Our weeks- months-and years go by faster and faster. Actually, each day is sort of routine, but each day holds something new an beautiful.

Last week we had a wonderful Mother's Day. Calls or cards, from all the kids and grandkids. The Richardson's called and took KK and us out about 1 pm to a
Chinese Buffet. I believe all the other children took their Mothers out to the same place that day.Was busy, we had to wait, but the food was great.

Monday we were able to see Miranda play baseball. They lost, but were ahead until the bottom of the last inning. (Something like the SL Cardinals lately.)

Tuesday , little Sarah stayed by our house with Stiches. That is one patient dog. (something like Job) I could have bitten her a number of times if I were stitches the way she pulled him around. I got informed it was a boy not a girl.

Wednesday Kelsey stayed overnight because of school activites.Gave us a good reason to see if CC's still serve good pizza.Set the cot up for her and all went well.

Thursday a nurse pricked my finger again, and I believe all is under contol this time.

Friday- a day of rest. Crocheted-- read books.

Saturday- another day of rest, except I took time to make Saturday telephone calls and salad for a a church dinner today.

And, so the world turns. More aches and pains, but still two old people to talk together and watch all the birds and squirrels. Saw two swallows trying to build a nest above our neighbors outside light. (Hope they stay there.)

Really am not copying your last blog B; but great minds run in the same gutter and I had the same idea for my next blog.

Tornado Time

Boy, lately we have had a lot of threats of tornado's, but so far we have been spared any damage. Saturday, we actually had weather warnings for at least two hours. Seems like the storms were all the way down from the Quachta's and Tx. up through--Ok--Ar--Ks and Mo. The sirens blew a number of times-others got strong winds--hail--heavy rains and tornado's. One touched down briefly about 5 miles from us. Very little damage though compared to the ones that hit Pitcher, Ok and Seneca, MO. about 50 miles north of us. That tornado was about 300 yards wide and 30 miles long, doing very heavy damage and taking over 20 lives. Made us think of the movie, "Wizard of Oz". Don't still know why our tallest girl was sooooo scared of that show. Must have been the( Tin Man or the Straw Scare Crow.)

Today the weather is sunny and warm, but they are predicting rain and storms including tornado's again for the the rest of the week. We shall wait and see. We sort of plan to take a short ride again this week and see all the changes in the scenery and stop at some new place for our big day out.

Dry to Wet

We took our trek from dry Benton to wet Washington this a.m for SJ's red wine at the County Line Liquors Inc. Always amazes us how big that place is and loaded with ALL types of drinks.

We also enjoyed seeing all the changes in the surroundings. More and more ground being made ready for bigger and better developments. Also who could resist eating out at Ron's Hanburger and Chili joint when leaving Lowell.

The azeales are just beautiful this spring, and the leaves have blocked much of the unseen summer back road stuff. It's fun getting kicks out of small things.
